Baro Drom Orkestar is an explosive band from Florence that blends tradition and innovation in what they call “Power Gypsy Dance”: klezmer, Armenian and Balkan music and pizzica, played on electric violin with effects, accordion, electric double bass and modified drums. Most tracks are original compositions, and the traditional ones are rearranged with the band’s power-world-dance sound: Italian temperament, passion, hot rhythms and a rock attitude. This international edition adds three previously unreleased tracks featuring Serbian accordionist Goran Kovačević.
